She has extensive valuation knowledge having undertaken valuations on all types of landholdings, commercial/ investment properties for loan security, accounts, revenue, fee simple acquisitions and portfolio purposes on behalf of institutions, public sector and private clients.

Elaine has been an appointed lease and rating advisor to multiple national/international landlord and tenant clients across the retail, office and industrial sector over the past two decades. She specializes in rent review dispute resolution cases and was appointed in 2018 by the SCSI to act as an arbitrator or expert on cases.

Prior to joining Kroll, Elaine founded  a chartered surveying consultancy practice that offered professional service expertise on all aspects of landlord and tenant and valuation. She was also an appointed ordinary member of the Valuation Tribunal. Before that, she held the title of senior director level in private practices representing a wide range of national and international clients on valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals/re-gears, compulsory purchase, rating and asset management work.

Elaine has also held the title of director of advisory services at Colliers International (Dublin), director of rating at Colliers International (London) and director of professional services at Eddisons (London). In addition, she worked as a senior strategy consultant for the London Borough of Lewisham.

Elaine received a diploma in auctioneering valuation and estate agency from the Dublin Institute of Technology (Technology University Dublin) and a BSc (Hons) degree in real estate management from Oxford Brookes University.

Elaine is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI). She is an RICS-registered valuer and an appointed member on the RICS/SCSI Arbitration and Independent Expert Panel. Elaine is currently vice-chair of the SCSI Valuation PG Committee and is on the SCSI Members & Public Affairs Standing Committee. In addition, she is an RICS/SCSI Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Assessor and an SCSI mentor.
