Global Head of Identity Theft and Breach Notification

David White is the global head of identity theft and breach notification for Kroll’s Identity Theft and Breach Notification practice, a division of Kroll’s Cyber Risk. David provides the strategic vision and management for this globally recognized organization, which helps clients and their advisors resolve a myriad of complex data-related issues, from research and operation centers located in North America, Europe and Australia, David’s team facilitates the global response for Clients breach notification events ranging from those that impact a single individual to the most high-profile data breach on record, which affected nearly half-a-billon consumers worldwide.

Most recently, David developed and launched the market release of our EMEA and APAC services.  Including the UK entity which is authorized and regulated by the financial conduct authority and expanding the role Kroll plays in proactive security. He was appointed by the FCA to oversee Kroll’s UK regulated restoration services.

David has over 20 years of experience leading teams globally and supporting clients in the delivery of specialized solutions across both private and public entities. His expertise lies in working in time sensitive and highly regulated environments.

Before joining Kroll, David ran Goldman Sachs’ Tax program during the implementation of new global regulations. He began his career in the British Army, where he held several roles, including head of the branch responsible for providing geographic and data intelligence and advice to UK Special Forces and other government departments. He also served on the UK Resilience Council, providing advice during UK emergencies and events, including the London 2012 Olympics. David is currently a serving British Army Reserve Officer.

David is recognized as a global authority on data breach, identity theft and next-generation technology, including artificial intelligence advancements. He has been frequently featured in the media, including Entirely Finance’s article, “David White Addresses Identity Fraud,” and I News’s piece, “How UK Consumers Can Avoid Bank Fraud.”
