
Daniel Turi is a director in Kroll’ Portfolio Valuation service line, based in London, focusing on servicing alternative investment managers, such as private equity, hedge funds and private debt funds.
Daniel has specialized in the valuation of illiquid securities and business interests. He has performed valuations of portfolios of illiquid loans, non-performing loan portfolios, equity interests and litigation claims. Additionally, Daniel has performed valuations for structured products and derivative products held by a variety of alternative investment managers focusing on special situations and distressed investments, real estate and private lending.
Prior to joining Kroll, Daniel worked at Morgan Stanley as a credit research associate. He was involved in the credit risk management of Morgan Stanley’s primary lending exposure to business services and industrial sectors. Prior to his credit research role at Morgan Stanley, he was an associate in Morgan Stanley’s Private Equity Valuations team.
Daniel holds a B.Sc. in engineering management from Kecskemet College, an M.A. in international economics from Corvinus University of Budapest, and a post-graduate degree in investment analysis from Institute for Training and Consulting in Banking. He is a CFA charter holder and is fluent in English and Hungarian.
