Colin has vast experience in performing valuations of businesses, assets and complex securities for financial reporting, tax compliance and estate tax purposes. He has worked with a wide range of alternative asset managers, including hedge funds, private equity funds and business development companies. Colin specializes in the valuation of loans, subordinated and mezzanine debt, convertible debt, common and preferred equity, and warrants.
Prior to joining Kroll, Colin was an analyst at a boutique valuation firm. In that role, Colin assisted his clients in the following areas: business enterprise, common and preferred equity, options, incentive-based awards and purchase price allocation. In addition to business and equity valuations, Colin designed advanced valuation models, including Monte Carlo simulation to value complex securities.
Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from The College of New Jersey.
