Chris Lombardy is the Deputy Chief Revenue Officer - Private Funds, at Kroll, based in the New York office. Chris leverages extensive experience within the investment advisory industry as a lawyer, chief compliance officer and consultant.
Prior to being appointed Deputy Chief Revenue Officer - Private Funds, Chris served as Managing Director and Head of the U.S. Compliance and Regulatory Consulting practice. Chris joined the firm through its acquisition of Kinetic Partners in 2015.
Chris has worked closely with investment advisory clients on numerous matters such as formation and structuring, establishing compliance and operations infrastructure, performing mock regulatory examinations, selecting appropriate service providers, identifying and addressing risks and conflicts, performing operational due diligence reviews and preparing for and navigating regulatory examinations.
Chris is frequently asked to lecture on panels about investment adviser regulations, steps in developing a robust compliance infrastructure, industry best practices, preparing for regulatory examinations and due diligence reviews and key areas of current focus in the investment advisor industry.
Chris received a B.S. in international finance and an MBA in finance from American University, Kogod College of Business in Washington, D.C. He also received a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law.
