Bryan Hiller is a business development executive with the Compliance Risk and Diligence practice of Kroll based in New York. Bryan helps clients worldwide comply with the increasingly more stringent and growing number of regulatory regimes through strategic solutions that draw on Kroll’s in-depth subject matter expertise, global research capabilities and ground-breaking technology.
He has significant experience in developing, setting up and implementing policies and procedures that effectively meet challenges associated with anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, know your customer/ultimate beneficial ownership and due diligence. Bryan has assisted clients in a wide range of industries, including the gaming and sports betting sector.
Concurrently, Bryan also serves as a New York No Fault Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. Appointed by the New York State Superintendent of the Department of Financial Services, Bryan hears and decides disputes related to no-fault insurance.
Prior to joining Kroll, Bryan was a Senior Trial Attorney with the Law Offices of Karen L. Lawrence, in-house counsel for Allstate Insurance Company. In this role, Bryan managed a significant litigation caseload, as well as a subrogation caseload, to facilitate appropriate disposition of cases in conjunction with the claims department.
Previously, Bryan was a Staff Attorney with Heidell Pittoni Murphy & Bach LLP, primarily representing institutional clients that included hospitals, doctors and insurance companies in New York in civil medical malpractice actions. Bryan started his legal career as a Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County (NY), during which time he consistently handled a caseload of approximately 200 cases.
