Prior to joining the firm, Armand worked for BDO International in Luxembourg where he developed the corporate finance and valuation practice.
Armand has extensive experience in valuation of various asset types, which include common equity, preferred equity, convertible preferred equity and hybrid instruments; senior, subordinated and mezzanine debt; and distressed assets and non-performing loans. He assists clients in all matters related to valuation, which include providing independent and objective third-party valuations of fund portfolios; performing fairness opinions and event-driven independent valuations (M&A, special situations); assisting early-stage technology companies in valuing shares for fund raising purposes. He also assists technology centric businesses with the valuation of their intangible assets and intellectual property.
Throughout his professional career, Armand has advised private equity clients in the context of fund raising, M&A and leveraged buyout activities. He has also advised corporate clients in a wide range of industries, including telecoms services, communication technologies, digital media, mobility, renewable energies, real estate, consumer goods, sports, online gaming and e-commerce.
Armand started his career with Stern Stewart & Co. in New York as a management consultant specializing in economic value added (EVA) and shareholder value consulting.
Armand graduated from HEC Paris School of Management in France. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
