Álvaro leverages more than 13 years of experience in major consulting projects, international construction arbitration and programme management for large public and private companies.
Prior to joining Kroll, Álvaro served as Operations Director and Programme Manager for EMEA at JLL, leading the real estate development programmes for companies such as HP Inc. Before that, he held the title of Project Manager at Dragados UK, a top tier construction company.
Álvaro's notable clients include large construction and industrial corporations from EMEA and South America, which he successfully advised as expert witness in arbitrations held at the International Chamber of Commerce among other courts. During his time at JLL, he managed and organized the Real Estate department for EMEA, resulting in significant cost savings and efficiency improvements. At Dragados, he led complex construction projects in London for clients such as Crossrail, London Underground and HS2 while implementing a sound contract management system.
Further, Álvaro has been recognized as Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE) by the Institution of Civil Engineers since 2016.
Álvaro holds an MBA from London Business School. He also holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an undergraduate degree in economics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
