He leverages more than 15 years of experience in assisting clients in valuation and consulting engagements for institutional investors, corporate clients, owners/operators of real estate and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
Aaron has extensive valuation experience in major property types, along with expertise in specialized asset types including senior housing, self-storage, specialty retail, cold storage and others. His knowledge extends beyond property-level real estate valuation to include REITs, operating companies and other real-property intensive businesses. Aaron has experience in financial reporting exercises for public companies, as well as fair value reporting for private real estate companies.
Prior to joining Kroll, Aaron served as an associate at the Advisory & Consulting Group at Green Street Advisors, where his responsibilities included advising on REIT IPO’s, company benchmarking, best practices, portfolio positioning, disclosure and monetization alternatives. He also has real estate property tax consulting expertise and has represented institutional real estate owners on a variety of matters.
Aaron received a B.S. in real estate finance and investments from St. Cloud State University and holds an MBA in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin. He holds appraisal licenses in several southwestern U.S. states and is an Appraisal Institute Candidate for Designation.
