Varian leverages more than 25 years of experience working in financial services, regulatory environments and restructuring. He has worked with global and Gibraltar-based businesses that are distressed and need refinancing and restructuring solutions. Varian’s experience spans across insurance, gaming and cryptocurrency sectors.
Prior to joining Kroll, Varian worked at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, where he supervised and conducted quality assurance reviews of regulated individuals. Over the years, he has obtained a broad range of knowledge and experience in insurance, auditing and forensic accounting.
Varian regularly contributes to the Insolvency Faculty of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants and the Gibraltar Insurance Association.
Varian is a licensed insolvency practitioner in Gibraltar. He is also licensed as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Insurer.
