Tim Strong

Tim leverages more than 20 years of experience of advising on improving operational performance, managing risk and aligning legal service delivery with enterprise objectives to oversee global teams delivering transformation programs for Fortune 500 organizations, government agencies and leading law firms.

Tim partners with general counsel, chief legal officers, and legal operations leaders to modernize legal, claims and compliance functions through strategy, operating model design and technology enabled transformation in complex, regulated environments.

Tim’s engagements frequently include enterprise case and matter management transformation, legal spend and billing optimization, claims and litigation process redesign, operating model modernization, and the design and deployment of enabling technologies. Where appropriate, these initiatives may be supported through managed or ongoing service delivery models. His work focuses on large scale legal transformation initiatives that drive efficiency, cost transparency, scalability and defensibility across the legal ecosystem.

Tim has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including financial services, banking, insurance, manufacturing, automotive, and energy and oil and gas. He is known for helping general counsels and legal operations leaders navigate change by pragmatically balancing strategy, process, technology and governance to deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining regulatory and legal defensibility.

Prior to joining Kroll, Tim held an executive leadership role at a legal technology software company, where he led global implementation teams and managed an industry focused product development group serving corporate legal departments and law firms. This experience informs his practical, execution focused approach to legal transformation.

Tim holds a B.S. in Political Science/Law from the University of Iowa and has completed coursework through the Project Management Institute and the Insurance Institute of America. He is a former member of the Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard Oversight Committee.
