Stephan Lechel

Stephan has more than 37 years of experience in both management consulting as well as executive and non-executive roles within industry. He has led multinational business transformations, cost efficiency, target operating models and operational excellence programs.

Prior to joining Kroll, Stephan led the Business Transformation practice at FTI-Andersch. He  advised medium-sized, owner-managed companies as well as stock listed corporations on optimizing operational performance, organizational design as well as supply chain. His work involved identifying levers to guide companies through strategic and operational transformation programs. Typically, this includes, target operating models, quick assessments of cost-cutting opportunities, identification of new ways for top line growth and implementation support – working closely with the stakeholders and C-Suites to guarantee a sustainable profitability. Prior to joining FTI-Andersch, he was Partner at Porsche Consulting. He was responsible for large transformation projects in the context of efficiency optimization. Before that, he worked in different roles at Ford Motor Company, the most recent one being Vice President Europe Production Systems Interior. Stephan has worked across multiple industries including consumer goods, automotive, industry goods as well as pharma and healthcare.

Stephan has lived in Germany and Netherland and gained project experience in U.S., LATAM, EMEA, Thailand and Indonesia. He is proficient in German, English and has conversational fluency in Swedish.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Technische Hochschule Berlin, Germany.
