Sharukh Dumasia

Prior to joining Kroll, Sharukh led KPMG’s deal advisory business in Saudi Arabia and served on the board and the executive committee of KPMG in the UAE and Oman. Before this, he held senior leadership roles at KPMG UAE, first as Head of Deals and later as Head of Audit.

Earlier in his career, he was one of the founding members of KPMG UK’s Deals practice, where he served as Head of Deals for the TMT sector. He also held positions in KPMG UK’s audit practice before transitioning into advisory, focusing on finance operations, business intelligence and investment decision support.

Sharukh has extensive experience across the full deal lifecycle, from ideation (market assessments, business plans and funding strategies) through execution (M&A management, due diligence, SPA financials and structuring) to value creation (post merger integration, synergy realisation, performance improvement, distressed turnaround and financial restructuring). His experience includes advising on the merger of two major UAE banks to create one of the region’s largest financial institutions. He also supported the separation and sale of an insurance business previously owned by a UAE bank and contributed to six transactions for a leading Saudi energy company across downstream distribution, alternative energy and a global automotive engine and transmission merger.

Sharukh received a BSc (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
