Sarah Rayment

Her work spans both national and international engagements, supporting borrowers, lenders, investors and other stakeholders through complex and often distressed situations. Sarah’s areas of expertise include conducting financial reviews, advising on strategic options and stakeholder duties and taking formal insolvency appointments.

Prior to joining Kroll, Sarah was a partner at another firm in the Business Restructuring team, where she led assignments across regulated businesses and entities with complex financial structures.

Notable experience includes:

• Advised on the sale by Administrators of The Four Seasons Healthcare Group
• Joint Administrator to multiple real estate groups with diverse asset classes
• Financial monitor to borrowers with total borrowings exceeding £1billion
• Acted as Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) nominee and supervisor, advising boards on feasibility and preparation of CVAs and alternative options
• Appointed Fixed Charge Receiver over several collateralized debt obligation structures
• Liquidator and CVA supervisor for a securitization vehicle involving Senior Life Settlement policies
• Oversaw wind-downs and solvent liquidations of two mortgage loan providers
• Managed the wind-down and sale of Refco Financial Services’ UK business following the Chapter 11 filing of its U.S. parent

Her assignments often involve navigating unusual insolvency regimes, conducting investigations and managing regulated entities with intricate financial arrangements.

Sarah is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
