Roman Malcher

Roman leverages almost 25 years of experience in valuation of both real and personal property in the public and private sectors. Roman has extensive experience managing the logistics of complex, multi-location insurance appraisal assignments. Additionally, Roman has provided valuation services for mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocation and collateral financing purposes. Prior to joining Kroll, Roman served as Deregulation Marketing Specialist at Ontario Power Generation. Before that, he held the title of Director, Sales and Marketing at Laurentian Group Corporation, a Canadian life insurance company (now Desjardins-Laurentian Financial Corporation).

Roman holds a degree in computer programming and database design from Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He also holds a Canadian Risk Manager (CRM) designation from the University of Toronto and Global Risk Management Institute, Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in the machinery & technical specialties discipline, and Accredited Senior Appraiser in Appraisal Review & Management (ARM) of the American Society of Appraisers. He is also involved in youth hockey development programs throughout the year in Eastern Ontario, Canada.
