Robert Palmer

Robert leverages more than ten years of experience in incident response and proactive security services to enable clients to advance their security posture. Robert is uniquely positioned to communicate with organizations about the best path forward to secure their environments and has a proven track record of success in developing long-term relationships focused on continued interaction and improvement.

Prior to joining Kroll, Robert founded and led Mandiant’s Public Sector Incident Response team (Google Public Sector), now an industry leader in forensic investigations. In this role, Robert played a key role in election protection efforts and in significantly advancing security posture and operations across state, local government and higher education entities.

Before that, Robert was Hunt Team Lead at FireEye Inc, managing operations, including daily workflow, leading interactions between the company and its clients, as well as continuing to grow the capability outside of the company.

Prior to his career in cybersecurity, Robert served in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) as Combat Communicator and USMC Network Technician, where he was involved with network infrastructure setup and maintenance, malware analysis and incident monitoring.
