Paul Joseph

Paul brings more than 15 years of specialized experience advising lenders and financial institutions on complex distressed real estate situations. He is well respected for delivering commercially focused, lender-led solutions and for building trusted relationships through his market knowledge, responsiveness and pragmatic advice.

Prior to joining Kroll, Paul was Director in CBRE’s Loan Recovery Team, where he advised on high-profile enforcement and recovery mandates. Before that, he spent a decade at Strettons, a well-established real estate advisory firm, where he progressed to lead the firm’s Receivership Team.

Paul’s notable clients include major UK financial institutions, overseas banks, challenger banks, bridging finance providers and private lenders. He has advised on a wide range of engagements, including prime Central London residential properties, completed residential developments, vacant development sites and complex commercial property portfolios. His work has encompassed occupier engagement, asset management initiatives, enforcement strategies and disposals through both private treaty and auction, consistently maximizing recoveries for secured lenders.

Paul is a council member of NARA, the governing trade body representing property and fixed-charge receivers. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers (FNARA) and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Paul received his professional qualifications through RICS and NARA, reflecting his commitment to industry standards and best practice.
