Partha Alwar

Partha leverages more than ten years of experience leading digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) investigations. Throughout his career, he has led a wide range of complex cyber investigations, including ransomware incidents, business email compromises, insider threats  and nation-state intrusions. As an experienced incident responder, Partha’s expertise primarily lies in host-based forensics, log analysis and malware reverse engineering.

Prior to joining Kroll, Partha served as Vice President in the Digital Forensics and Incident Response practice at Stroz Friedberg, where he led high-profile investigations and advised organizations on cyber incident response, forensic analysis and threat remediation.

Partha is a frequent speaker on digital forensics, incident response and cybersecurity and has presented at leading industry conferences, including the RSA Conference, SANS DFIR Summit and Privacy + Security Forum.

Partha holds a Master of Science in cybersecurity engineering from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from BMS Institute of Technology in India.
