Nick Walker is Managing Director in the Cyber and Data Resilience business, based in Manchester.

Nick leverages over 15 years of professional experience in offensive security and ethical hacking to help organizations navigate their most challenging cyber and digital crises for Cyber and Data Resilience.

Before joining Kroll, Nick served as Regional Director for EMEA at security company, NetSPI, where he built and executed on scalable security programs for some of the largest fintech and technology companies in the industry. Prior to this, he worked at PwC and served as Regional Lead of X-Force Red for the Middle East and Africa at IBM. He has also held leadership and senior consultancy roles at NCC Group and MWR Infosecurity.

Nick’s degree dissertation, A Taxonomy of Memory Corruption Vulnerabilities was published in 2014, in the book, CyberPatterns: Unifying Design Patterns with Security and Attack Patterns. His work in attacking WP8 was mentioned in The Mobile Application Hacker’s Handbook.

Nick has spoken at and delivered training at leading security conferences, including Syscan, 44con, Brucon, the Qualcomm Security Summit and T2.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in ethical hacking and countermeasures (first class honors) from Abertay University, Dundee.
