
Miriam Santiago

Miriam has experience in analyzing and valuing businesses and intangible assets for tax and financial reporting purposes as well as transaction advisory support. Her work also includes valuations performed in the context of takeover bids (OPAs), fairness opinions and valuations in restructuring and insolvency scenarios.
Her technical expertise covers purchase price allocations (PPA) under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) [MB1.1] and U.S. GAAP, intangible asset valuation, impairment testing, contingent consideration, corporate finance model building and option based valuation techniques. She is a CFA Charter holder, bringing a rigorous analytical and financial framework to her valuation work.
Miriam has deep knowledge of telecom and technology and has also led several projects across a broad range of industries, including healthcare, industrials, oil and gas, media, consumer goods, retail and transport and logistics.
Prior to joining Kroll, Miriam worked as Business Analyst supporting the CEO of an international company, contributing to M&A analysis in LatAm, the development of new business lines and the assessment of corporate structure and strategic initiatives. She also worked in management consulting for the telecommunications sector, focusing on strategy as well as sales and marketing areas.
Miriam holds a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
