Matthew Donahue

With nearly 15 years of experience in fixed asset valuation, Matthew plays a senior leadership role within FAAS and enhances the group’s data capabilities and delivery models. He also sits on Kroll’s Product and Technology Leadership Committee, helping shape the firm’s investment in digital tools, valuation automation and scalable solutions for clients.

Throughout his career, Matthew has held leadership positions in Kroll’s Amsterdam and San Francisco offices. These positions provided him with a truly global perspective. His valuation experience spans a wide range of industries—including technology, industrial manufacturing, chemicals, logistics and infrastructure—and supports insurance placement, financial and tax reporting, purchase price allocations, asset-based lending, due diligence, fresh start accounting, property tax advisory, restructuring and impairment testing.

He has led several multiyear global valuation programs for FAAS clients with extensive real estate and equipment portfolios totaling over $200 billion in insured value. Matthew has conducted fieldwork in more than 25 countries and has conversational proficiency in Spanish, which has supported his engagements across Latin America, including numerous site visits in Mexico.

Matthew is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers in the Machinery & Technical Specialties discipline. He holds a B.S. in finance, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Denver.
