Prior to joining Kroll, Lionel was a Policy Analyst at the Swiss Foreign Ministry in Bern and Brussels, a Researcher at several Middle East-focused research institutes and a Business Development Associate at a global internet startup.
At Kroll, Lionel advises clients in the Swiss financial industry on compliance-driven due diligence solutions, including complex multijurisdictional investigations and annual remediation projects. He also oversees a team of analysts specializing in Europe and the Middle East.
Lionel holds a B.Sc. in economics from the University of Bern and an M.A. in international relations from Bogazici University. He also has an MPhil in modern middle eastern studies from the University of Oxford and is a certified anti-money laundering specialist (CAMS). Lionel is fluent in French, German and Turkish.
