Katherine Keefe is Managing Director and the Global Cyber Insurance Industry Lead at Kroll, based in Philadelphia. She joins with experience in cyber incident and breach management, as well as regulatory compliance expertise.

Previously, Katherine served as the US Cyber Incident Management Leader at Marsh, where she was responsible for strategy to support cyber event management and response, including data breaches and ransomware attacks. She advised clients on pre- and post-incident management and oversaw relationships with the broader cyber incident management marketplace, including breach coaches, forensic investigators, and cyber insurers. She was also Head of Breach Response Services at Beazley. Katherine has extensive experience counseling clients on regulatory, transactional, compliance, and risk management issues, both as a law firm partner and as in-house counsel for an academic medical center and a large Blue Cross plan.

Katherine is a frequent speaker at legal and insurance forums, including the American Health Lawyers Association, NetDiligence, and PLUS. She has been interviewed extensively for her expertise by media outlets such as Fox Business News, Business Insurance, and Bloomberg Business.

Katherine has her Bachelor of Arts from University of Albany. Her JD is from Temple University. Since 2023, she has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southeastern New Jersey.
