Joseph Smart

Joseph has over 10 years of corporate finance experience working with financial sponsors, corporates and owner-managed businesses across the UK, North America and Australasia. He has advised clients across a wide range of deal scenarios, sectors and geographies, having been involved in more than 25 completed mid-market transactions. His professional experience spans across both sell-side and buy-side roles, and includes supporting businesses in domestic and cross-border transactions across multiple sector verticals, including manufacturing, aerospace & defence, industrial technology, packaging, distribution, industrial services, infrastructure services and construction.

Prior to joining Kroll, Joseph worked in the UK Mid-Market M&A Team at HSBC. Before that, he previously spent seven years working internationally, most recently for EY in New York in their Industrials Investment Banking team.

Joseph is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and also holds a BSc degree in Accounting, Business Finance and Management from the University of York.
