Jonny Harman

Jonny leads Kroll’s illicit trade engagements in London. He has worked with clients worldwide to disrupt and deter illicit trade using innovative methodologies to maximize impact. Jonny has built a strong and trusted network across European law enforcement agencies and regulators enabling effective collaboration on cross border investigations and enforcement.

Jonny also established and leads Kroll’s people tracing service offering, working with financial institutions — including banks, pension providers and trust services — to locate individuals who have not been accessible to our clients. He also applies these people tracing skills when retained by law firms to identify and serve hard-to-find individuals involved in litigation, including witnesses, plaintiffs and defendants.

Jonny also manages Kroll’s engagements with clients in the sports sector in London. He supports sports teams, governing bodies and legal advisors with their investigatory needs, integrity reviews and due diligence on prospective partners.

He has played a leading role in numerous global investigations involving illicit trade, corruption, and white collar misconduct. His experience also includes identifying anonymous online bad actors, conducting cross border asset searches, and investigating insider leaks and information breaches.

Jonny plays a critical global role in technology and innovation at Kroll, ensuring that the firm leverages the most effective tools, platforms and analytical techniques to support its investigative work.

Jonny holds an M.Sc. in climate science from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and a B.Sc. in geography from the University of Northampton.
