John Han

John has over 16 years of experience in applying advanced analytics and data science in a highly commercial setting, having started his career as a data scientist at Microsoft and Kantar. Prior to joining Kroll, John was part of EY’s Strategy and Transaction practice for nine years between 2016 and 2025. In that role, he spent his time developing and leading several data-driven service offerings across the transaction cycle. His client base includes UK and EU based private equity portfolio companies and corporates, with strong experience in retail, manufacturing and TMT.

John has led over 100 projects helping clients with reporting, cost reduction, working capital, supply chain, forecasting, exit-readiness and complex bespoke analytics challenges for private equity portfolio companies and corporates. He also has hands-on experience working directly with big data in the technology sector.

John graduated from the University of Auckland majoring in operations research. Outside of work John is a keen musician and basketball player. He currently competes with a local club and coaches a London-based amateur women’s basketball team.
