Jim Hardman is the Global Head of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) in the Cyber and Data Resilience business, based in London.

Jim leverages over 18 years of experience of driving business growth in a variety of industry verticals, including cyber security, data breach response and construction, to spearhead the continued evolution of Kroll’s MDR services. He specializes in helping businesses achieve operational efficiency, gaining the most from the resources allocated. Having started his career at Kroll as Director of Identity Theft and Breach Notification, he progressed to the role of Director of Managed Services before moving into his current position.

Prior to joining Kroll, Jim worked as Program Director in an international construction firm, managing multiple projects and financial operations across a variety of clients.  Before that, he served in the British Army for ten years, holding diverse leadership roles and regularly operating under significant pressure. During this time, he was deployed to Afghanistan three times, culminating in leading 350 engineers on the final occasion.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Northumbria University and multiple qualifications in project management and leadership and management.
