Ignacio Luzarraga

Ignacio has advised business owners, management teams and boards on M&A and capital markets transactions across multiple geographies and economic cycles. Prior to joining Kroll, he served as Managing Director and Head of Spain and Portugal at Stifel, where he established the firm's Iberian investment banking presence. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Haitong Bank, BBVA, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London.

Representative transaction experience spans Consumer & Luxury Goods (premium cigar and tobacco brands), Specialty Pharma & Healthcare APIs, Technology & Cybersecurity, Renewable Energy Infrastructure (utility-scale solar PV), Construction & EPC, Specialty Chemicals & Polymers, Opioid-based Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients & Cannabis-derived Compounds, and High-Pressure Industrial Machinery — with transactions involving corporate strategics, sovereign-backed buyers and leading healthcare and technology private equity funds across the United States, Spain and broader European markets.

Ignacio holds an MSc in Leadership and Strategy (Sloan Fellowship) from London Business School, including a residency at CEIBS in Shanghai. He also completed the Global CEO Program delivered by IESE Business School and MIT Sloan Executive Education, and executive studies in Private Equity at Harvard Business School. He earned a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), Madrid.
