Previously, Husam advised a leading UAE government authority responsible for driving nationwide digital transformation across federal and local entities. His work included end‑to‑end digital product delivery, customer care transformation and the unification and expansion of government service channels. He has also led major workforce enablement programs and introduced agile delivery models across government ecosystems.
Prior to joining Kroll, Husam spent nearly 17 years at Ernst & Young, where he served as Partner in the UAE and led the Managed Services market across the MENA region. In this role, he advised ministries, executive councils and national authorities on strategy development, digital and customer transformation, workforce planning, governance and program delivery. His experience spans landmark initiatives for ministries of interior, finance, health, human resources, identity and citizenship, as well as national police forces and municipal authorities.
Earlier in his career, Husam served as Program Manager and member of the Executive Committee at the Emirates Identity Authority, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the organization and delivering the UAE’s nationwide population registry and identity program. His work included enrolment strategy, PMO design and the rollout of major infrastructure projects.
Husam holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University.
