He leverages over 14 years of experience in the energy industry, with a strong focus on the oil & gas sector. Throughout his career, he has supported international and national oil companies in areas such as asset valuation, joint venture management, financial due diligence and strategic advisory, combining technical and financial expertise across the upstream, midstream and downstream segments.

He began his career in the oilfield services sector as a technical consultant in hydrocarbon exploration and production, supporting key upstream operations for both private and state-owned companies. This early experience laid the foundation for his deep technical and financial understanding of the energy industry.

Prior to joining Kroll, Germán served as Technical Manager at prominent oil service companies, where he supported various state and private entities in the energy sector. Before that, he held the title of Technical Leader in critical projects within the global oil & gas industry. Germán has also held leadership and advisory positions at various multinational firms involved in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

His notable clients include major international and national oil companies, which Germán advised in the valuation of oil fields across multiple countries, the formation and operation of exploration and production joint ventures, and negotiations with government counterparts. He has also led joint venture audits for E&P operations around the world, ensuring compliance with financial and operational agreements, and identifying opportunities for value recovery and process improvement.

Germán holds a degree in geosciences engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero. He has also completed numerous advanced courses in the field of energy and geosciences.
