Gayathri Kunapuli

Gayathri is known for leveraging strategic thinking with operational excellence. She has helped clients design and deliver large-scale transformation programs that combine process redesign, automation, product thinking and change adoption to improve security posture, accelerate remediation and drive measurable operating efficiency across cybersecurity, IT and business stakeholders.

Prior to joining Kroll, Gayathri was Senior Manager in EY’s Cybersecurity consulting practice, where she led high-performing teams serving clients across retail, aviation, life sciences, technology and financial services. She led $30million-$40million in annual cybersecurity sales pursuits and managed a $10million portfolio that delivered 18% CAGR growth. She also led the design and development of an AI-enabled threat and vulnerability management platform that delivered tenfold operational efficiencies for analysts while providing real-time exposure insights to remediation teams and senior leadership. She also designed and launched Continuous Threat Exposure Management solutions for organizations and led a vulnerability management program redesign for a Fortune 30 retailer, significantly reducing the backlog of vulnerabilities through operating model improvements and technical automation.

Gayathri has led global teams across North America, Europe and Asia, and served as Chief of Staff to EY’s Americas Cybersecurity Leader, driving strategy execution, change adoption, practice digitization and cross-service-line operating model design for a national cybersecurity organization of more than 1,000 professionals. She also developed EY Americas’ retail cybersecurity strategy and go-to-market solutions, helping shape market-facing offerings and demand-generation initiatives.

Gayathri holds an M.S. in computer information systems from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business and an M.S. in computer science from Georgia State University. She also completed the Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets program through Wharton Online and holds Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/U.S.) certifications.
