Eric Coburn is a managing director and Head of the Healthcare Investment Banking practice. He is based in the New York office and leverages more than 30 years of experience advising healthcare payors and providers, including private, publicly-traded, not-for-profit and provider-sponsored companies, as well as private equity firms and state agencies.

Eric has worked on an array of complex engagements, principally in the areas of M&A advisory, strategic and capital advisory services, financial advisory and monitoring services, valuations, fairness opinions and restructurings. He has extensive expertise in managed care (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, dental/vision, care management) and outsourced and multi-site clinical services, where he has been especially active in physician-related transactions. His transaction experience includes home health, behavioral health, clinical laboratory, hospitals and long-term care/senior living.

Prior to joining Kroll, Eric spent a majority of his career at various iterations of the same firm. He joined the Raymond James Healthcare Investment Banking Group in 2012 following the acquisition of Morgan Keegan by Raymond James. Eric spent most of his career as a partner with Shattuck Hammond Partners, a boutique healthcare investment bank that was acquired by Morgan Keegan in 2007.

Eric received an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Wesleyan University.
