Desmond Taylor is Director in the Private Asset Valuation Solutions practice, based in London.

Desmond has extensive experience across financial data, indices, analytics, pricing, portfolio management and data governance, with a strong track record of leading global teams and large-scale transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Kroll, Desmond held senior leadership positions at MSCI, London Stock Exchange Group, Bloomberg and Barclays. Most recently, he served as Head of Analytics Program Management at MSCI, where he led the global program management team supporting the development and delivery of MSCI Analytics products. Previously, he led FTSE Russell’s Global Index Data Management Group at London Stock Exchange Group.

Earlier in his career, Desmond held roles at Deutsche Bank, Prebon Yamane, CMG and Capgemini. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in manufacturing engineering from the University of Birmingham.
