David has provided fairness opinions in a variety of transactions, including going-private, reverse merger, related party, ESOP and restructuring transactions, as well as traditional M&A transactions. He has provided solvency opinions in spin-offs and split-ups, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and other leveraged transactions. David has also advised companies on structuring intercompany debt securities and issued commercially reasonable debt opinions for debt issuances in related-party transactions.
David has experience in many industries, including consumer products, industrials, business services, engineering and construction, energy, and media and entertainment. Some of his notable clients include Illinois Tool Works, Honeywell International, Tyco International, Aon, Visa, Michael Kors, Mattel, Merck & Co, Atlantic Power Corporation, and Scripps Networks Interactive.
David received an MBA in finance and organizational behavior from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with distinction. He also holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated with highest honors. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered representative.
