David Jones

David leverages more than 13 years of experience in the valuation of machinery and equipment and industrial and commercial property. He has extensive experience assisting clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, food and beverage, manufacturing, chemical, engineering, packaging, electronics, research and development and public sectors with valuations for insurance and financial purposes, insolvency and auction sales and fixed asset inventory and reconciliation services.

Prior to joining Kroll, David served as Senior Manager at Hickman-Shearer Ltd, a UK-based capital asset valuation management and used equipment sales company. In this role, he provided a range of consultancy services including valuations for insurance and financial purposes, equipment sales and disposal advice and fixed asset management services. He has extensive experience working on single site and multilocation projects for SMEs and global corporations, with valuations ranging from hundreds of thousands to billions of dollars. David has significant experience in the valuation of highly specialized custom-built research equipment and previously valued the radio telescope assets at the Jodrell Bank UNESCO world heritage site.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in quantity surveying from the University of Reading, College of Estate Management.
