David leverages more than 18 years of experience in real estate, focusing on receivership and providing strategic solutions to complex asset management challenges.
Prior to joining Kroll, David served as Partner in the Receivership & Recovery Solutions Team at a national property consultancy. Before that, he was Director on the Real Estate Workout Team at another firm, having qualified as a Registered Property Receiver in 2011 and Chartered Surveyor in 2009
David has advised a wide range of lenders, from private high-net-worth individuals and family offices to major UK financial institutions, bridgers and international banks. He has worked on portfolios with extensive asset management and disposal challenges across diverse sectors, lot sizes and asset classes.
His notable transactions include Brickmakers Yard, a 200-key part-built hotel development in Soho; Project Mercatus, an NPL portfolio acquisition and subsequent receiverships over five shopping centres across England and Northern Ireland; Globeworks, a 520-bed PBSA asset in Birmingham; and Chester Square, a six-bedroom luxury townhouse and mews in Belgravia.
David also serves on the Council of NARA, the governing trade body for the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers. David received an M.Sc. in real estate finance & investment from the University of Reading, after graduating with first class honors in economics from the University of Southampton.
He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Fellow of the Association of Property & Fixed Charge Receivers (FNARA). Additionally, he is a qualified Mental Health First Aider certified by MHFA-England.
