David Coulson

Prior to joining Kroll, David was Partner in EY’s Economic Advisory Team, where he led projects across multiple countries and managed a team of 40 economists. He also served as Client Service Partner for Arqiva and held a people leadership role overseeing more than 200 valuers, modelers and economists.

Before EY, David held several senior positions at BT, including Head of Regulatory Finance, Head of Group Costing and Head of 21CN and Core Network Costing. His experience included leading finance responses to major Ofcom charge controls, disputes and appeals, regulatory financial statements, product profitability and commercial and regulatory costing. He also submitted evidence through expert witness statements and appeared at the Competition Commission. 

Earlier in his career, David held several Finance Director roles at AT&T and Concert Communications, covering global decision support, commercial and financial governance, revenue planning and forecasting, financial risk and business transformation. He began his career as Financial Analyst at NCR UK. 

David holds a B.A. (Hons) in business studies from London Metropolitan University and a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also completed AT&T’s Financial Leadership Program.
