Carlos García

Carlos has over 12 years of experience in offensive cybersecurity, primarily focused on consulting and executing penetration tests and ethical hacking assessments. He has led numerous international projects helping clients enhance their cybersecurity maturity and resilience against the latest threats.

Carlos holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Córdoba and has deep technical expertise in conducting penetration tests across a wide range of environments, with special interest in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure and external and internal infrastructures, among others.

He holds the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification—a globally recognized ethical hacking credential that requires demonstrated hands-on penetration testing skills and an in-depth understanding of attack methodologies.

Carlos is the co-author of the technical book “Hacking Windows: Ataques a sistemas y redes Microsoft” published by 0xWord. He has also authored several scientific articles and delivered workshops and talks at some of the most prominent cybersecurity conferences in Spain.

Before joining Kroll in early 2018, Carlos worked for several years across different countries at a leading global consultancy as Technical Lead within its international cybersecurity team. He supported clients across a wide range of industries—including oil and gas, healthcare, water treatment, electrical infrastructure, government agencies and multinational corporations—by conducting security assessments and ethical hacking engagements. He was also responsible for the final review of technical reports to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Carlos is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
