Bessie Lucas

Since joining Kroll in 2014, Bessie has taken on a variety of roles, including leading comprehensive and complex pre-transaction and third-party reputational due diligence assignments for prominent, global and regional financial institutions and multinational corporations. Her experience includes setting up a third-party due diligence program for a Southeast Asia-based online travel agency focused on financial records and assets research. She has also consulted global financial institution clients on numerous prime brokerages, private wealth management, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)-related matters, as well as due diligence projects related to pre-investment, pre-M&A and pre-IPO for public listings on various APAC stock exchanges.

Before Kroll, Bessie worked at a non-governmental organization that provides research and technical services to international development agencies.

Bessie received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and a master’s degree in global political economy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a native Indonesian speaker and fully proficient in Malay.
