He works closely with debtors, creditors, legal advisers and other stakeholders to investigate financial affairs, recover assets and maximize returns for creditors. He is particularly experienced in contentious matters involving property-related disputes, antecedent transactions and cross-border asset recovery.

His notable experience includes successfully realizing property assets in a variety of complex bankruptcy scenarios, including contested matters, equitable exoneration claims, farmland cases, abandoned or destroyed property matters and portfolios of tenanted properties. He has led investigations into antecedent transactions, including transactions at an undervalue, preferences and transactions designed to defraud creditors. Alex also has significant experience in applications relating to suspension of discharge, private examinations, search and seizure orders and mail redirection.
