Ajay Bhandaram

Before joining Kroll, Ajay was Executive Director at 55ip, a J.P. Morgan Asset Management subsidiary specializing in tax-smart investment technology. He led advisor platform redesigns, managed data and trading integrations and drove automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Earlier, Ajay spent over 15 years at Bloomberg LP in senior business and product management roles across portfolio risk and CMBS analytics. He led the development of Bloomberg’s CMBS analytics platform, integrating modeling, data and distribution strategies for global institutional clients.
Ajay’s notable engagements include leading the Barclays Indices integration project following Bloomberg’s acquisition of the Barclays fixed income index business, a large-scale data and platform integration that expanded Bloomberg’s benchmark capabilities and strengthened its leadership in the fixed-income analytics market. He has also delivered numerous enterprise-level workflow modernization initiatives for major global asset managers and trading desks.
Ajay Bhandaram also serves on the board of the Joyce Theater Foundation, a non-profit organization bringing dance to everyone in New York city.
Ajay Bhandaram has led several panels and seminars on Commercial Real Estate related forums during his tenure at Bloomberg.
Ajay holds a Master of Business Administration degree in international relations and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science from PennWest California. He also holds an Artificial Intelligence for Product Managers certification from Product School.
He is involved with Sphoorti Foundation, an NGO based in Hyderabad, India that provides opportunities for disadvantaged children to find affectionate long-term care that covers their basic needs, healthcare and education, creating a home-like atmosphere.
