Abigail C. Marean

In addition to working on complex global investigations, Abby has participated in dozens of interviews that addressed allegations of impropriety on the part of clients’ employees, vendors or competitors. Previously at Kroll, Abby managed the practice’s team of research analysts in New York. 

In one assignment, Abby led a multijurisdictional inquiry into the effects of geopolitical unrest in Eastern Europe on a client’s potential new business venture. Kroll investigators, utilizing a network of well-placed, local sources, provided detailed intelligence. This intelligence indicated that the would-be co-investors had unwanted political ties, potentially jeopardizing the proposed venture's success. The client subsequently removed the co-investors from the venture and proceeded.

Abby joined Kroll after having served for five years as an investigator at the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board. There she investigated allegations of misconduct filed against members of the New York Police Department, such as those of excessive force and abuse of authority.

She holds a B.A in anthropology from Mount Holyoke College.
