Kroll’s webcast series, Corporate Corruption: A Spotlight On..., features a range of experts discussing the corruption landscape in different jurisdictions around the world.
While there is a growing and inter-connected global network of anti-corruption legislation, there are jurisdictional differences in frameworks, approaches taken by regulators, and domestic political and economic factors, all of which combine to produce a corruption environment specific to that country. This series will tour a number of countries speaking with in-country anti-corruption practitioners to provide their insights on risks faced by businesses operating, or looking to operate, in these jurisdictions.
The panel discussion explored why corruption risk is increasing, how authorities are tackling the issue and what businesses need to think about to mitigate risk, as they prepare to navigate a post-pandemic commercial environment and a return to relative normality.
