School shootings have been a stark reality for students, teachers and parents alike for the last 20 years. Gun violence in the American schooling system holds consequences for millions of children and in lieu of this, the U.S. Department of Education, along with the departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services released a new planning guide to help school districts develop and maintain emergency operations plans (EOPs).

Partnering with Campus Security & Life Safety, Dan Linskey, Managing Director, and John Friedlander, Senior Manager, in the Security Risk Management practice of Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, will lead a webinar discussing the best practices for developing an EOP. They will share recommendations that schools can action when planning and implementing their guide with community partners, such as local law enforcement.
