Yvette Gabrielian, Senior Director in the Cyber Risk practice of Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, published an article titled “CCPA and GDPR compliance strategies for private banks” in Compliance Matters. In the article, Yvette draws a comparison between the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and offers guidance on how private banks can get ahead of the CCPA’s implementation and be compliant.

Firms that have to take both laws into account are going to have to make the most strenuous efforts to protect personal data in the next year or so.”
