Tarun Bhatia Comments on Decisions Made During the IndiGo Board Meeting

Recommendations have been brought up during IndiGo’s board meeting held on July 19, 2019 and progress has been made since the dispute between the co-founders broke out.

Tarun Bhatia, Managing Director in the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice of Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, recently spoke to The Hindu BusinessLine, suggesting that these recommendations are welcome and timely. Such disputes are not new and have happened several times in the past with other high-profile companies. 

“This issue requires a quick solution. It should be resolved in the next three-four months. Surely by next quarter, otherwise it could affect the brand, reputation and also the company’s operations,” he said. Tarun also added that the issues raised are not insignificant and have come into prominence due to the current environment where many high-profile companies have also been brought to the spotlight on various governance-related issues.
