Santosh N, Managing Director in the Duff & Phelps Valuation Advisory practice, was recently featured in Mint on education tech startup Byju’s steep rise in valuation. With the recently infused funding of $86 million, the valuation for the company jumped to $5.5 billion, and experts anticipate more increases in valuation in the near future “if investors are offered a different set of rights and conditions such as liquidation preference and anti-dilution protection.”
