Former FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Michael Quinn, Joins Kroll as an Associate Managing Director in the Firm's Cyber Investigations Practice

NEW YORK — Kroll, the global leader in risk mitigation and response solutions, announced today that Michael Quinn, former Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has joined the firm as an Associate Managing Director in the Cyber Investigations Practice.

Quinn brings to Kroll a deep knowledge of computer intrusion having managed a number of investigations into state sponsored and criminal intrusion matters during his tenure with the FBI. He has extensive experience in cyber investigations and has performed numerous search and seizure operations as well as digital evidence examinations.

Quinn most recently served as a Supervisory Special Agent in the FBI’s Cyber Division. From 2007 through 2012 he was a Special Agent/Computer Forensic Examiner with the FBI’s elite Computer Analysis and Response Team based in the FBI’s New Jersey Regional Computer Forensics Lab. Quinn began his career with the Bureau in 2005 as part of a cyber squad in the Newark, New Jersey division.

Before joining the FBI Quinn was a manager with the Electronic Brokerage division of Ameritrade where he held his Series 7, Series 4, Series 24, and Series 63.

Quinn holds an MS in Computer Information Systems from the University of Nebraska and a BS in Political Science from the University of Scranton.
