Julian Korek, Managing Director and Global Head of Duff & Phelps' Compliance and Regulatory Consulting practice, hosted a luncheon at the House of Commons to discuss Duff & Phelps’ upcoming though-leadership report: the Global Enforcement Review (GER). Now in its fifth year, GER provides commentary and insights on global enforcement trends with a focus on the financial services industry. The report aims to assist firms in understanding the key risks to inform strategic governance and compliance programs.
He was joined by Mark Steward, Director of Enforcement and Market Oversight at the Financial Conduct Authority, who delivered the keynote speech which focused on the implementation of MiFID II and highlighted the increasing importance of acting against financial crime and money laundering.
