New York – The Duff & Phelps Charitable Foundation has been named as one of the COVID-ZERO Business Coalition’s first donors after pledging funds to support research and development into a COVID-19 vaccine. The Duff & Phelps Charitable Foundation has granted its single largest donation ever of USD 250,000 to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), who make up COVID-ZERO’s vaccine development unit.
Jill Weise, Duff & Phelps Charitable Foundation Board Member and Global Head of Duff & Phelps Transfer Pricing practice added, “The Duff & Phelps Charitable Foundation is proud to support CEPI and their efforts in pioneering research and development of a globally available COVID-19 vaccine. We encourage our peers to help close the funding gap and join the mission of protecting the future of our global health.”
The Duff & Phelps Charitable Foundation was established in 2018 to nurture innovative ideas, impact economic and social issues, and enable progress in underserved communities around the globe. Since its inception in 2018, the foundation has donated over USD $1 million to charities all over the world at the guidance of colleagues.
